Best Events To Attend During Montreal F1 Weekend

That’s right Montreal, it’s that time of year again where our city is bustling with the decadence that follow the Grand Prix.

As a result, our city will be jam packed with events that can’t be missed this weekend. We suggest you take the metro for the best possible transportation into the city since there will be many road closures!

Crescent Street

As every year, Crescent street is the hub for tourists to get their fix of all things F1! And while as locals, we know a lot of us tend to stay away from this area, we strongly encourage you to check it out this weekend. Enjoy the free live entertainment and come watch us walk in the Tru Culture fashion show at 8PM on the main stage this Friday!

Peel street Grand Prix

Once you are finished hitting up all the events on Cresent, take a stroll down Peel. Restaurants such as Chez Alexandre, Houston Avenue Bar & GrillUniversel, and many more will be throwing parties for Grand Prix at this famous Downtown Montreal street.

Kampai Garden

A lot of us do not feel like dressing up to go out and our best suggestion for the more low-key people is to go to Kampai! We suggest making a dinner reservation in advance, since this beer garden always gets packed. Kampai is always spinning old school tracks to new wave hip hop! The dress code is casual, perfect for those just looking for a chill night and great music.

The Ritz-Carlton Grand Prix Party

If you’re lucky enough to be able to afford the $600 ticket that goes along with this party, we promise you – this is THE party to attend during Montreal Grand Prix weekend. This is the place to rub elbows with the elite crowd in Montreal as well as the race car drivers. The ticket includes: open bar, gastronomic buffet, live entertainment and so much more!

Martini Grand Prix Party at the William Gray Hotel

Saturday night the festivities continue as we’ll be celebrating on the rooftop terrace of the William Grey hotel. With their exclusive F1 event, Martini in collaboration with team Williams will celebrate the joy of racing and bring to life the Gioia Di Vivere – the Italian “joy of living.” So, dress to impress and get ready for an unforgettable soirée at the Terrazza as you sip on endless Martini cocktails, devour scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, engage in great conversation, marvel over the breathtaking Old Port views – and celebrate, until the early hours of the morning!

Race Day Sunday

While the parties are all fun for the weekend, we think you should also kick back and enjoy watching the actual race on Sunday. If you can snag a ticket this late in the game, then even better! But if you aren’t so lucky, why not invite your friends over and and enjoy a recovery day while watching the race on TV.
